About Small Caps Generator

Convert text to ꜱᴍᴀʟʟ ᴄᴀᴘꜱ instantly. Our small caps generator maps each lowercase letter to its IPA Unicode small-capital form, giving you compact decorative text that works in any platform supporting Unicode. **Where small caps come from** The IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) extensions block in Unicode (U+1D00–U+1D7F) was designed for linguists to write phonetic transcriptions of speech sounds. As a side effect, it includes uppercase letter shapes at lowercase x-height — exactly what "small caps" needs in book typography. We repurpose these characters for decorative text on social media. **Best use cases** - Instagram bio headers and section dividers - Twitter/X bio (where Twitter doesn't support bold) - Discord channel names and nicknames - Gaming usernames where lowercase looks unprofessional but ALL CAPS looks rude - Decorative writing in stories, captions, scripts, and plain-text books **Limits** The letters s and x don't have clean small-cap forms in standard Unicode, so we fall back to lowercase for those. Q has a less common form (ǫ) which renders inconsistently across fonts. **Privacy** This tool is 100% client-side. No tracking, no upload. Other small caps generator sites use multiple trackers; ours uses zero.

Unicode IPA small caps cover most of the alphabet, but a few letters (s, x) don't have a clean small-cap form in standard Unicode. We use the closest visual match, which may render as lowercase on some fonts.

Instagram bios, Twitter/X tweets, Discord nicknames, Reddit comments, TikTok captions, gaming usernames, and any plain-text field that accepts Unicode. Books and articles often use small caps for emphasis (e.g., 'B.C.E.'), and our tool gives you that look without needing CSS.
