About Decision Maker
This decision maker selects one item from a list you provide. Unlike a fixed yes-or-no generator, it works with real options: restaurants, movie titles, chores, project names, presentation order, game characters, destinations, or any other low-stakes choice.
Fair selection and no-repeat rounds
The picker uses the Web Crypto API rather than Math.random to choose an unbiased browser-side index. Rejection sampling avoids the tiny modulo bias that can appear when the range of a random integer is not evenly divisible by the number of options. Every distinct choice in the active pool therefore receives the same selection chance.
With no-repeat mode enabled, a selected choice leaves the pool until the round ends. This is useful for assigning tasks, choosing speakers, drawing prompts, or cycling through activities. The visible history makes the order easy to audit and copy. Blank lines, bullet prefixes, and duplicate spellings are cleaned before selection.
Randomness does not make a decision wise. Do not delegate medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or consent-related judgments to a picker. For everyday indecision, however, a neutral draw can expose your preference: if the result disappoints you, that reaction is useful information. The option list and history remain on your device and disappear when the page is closed or refreshed.

Yes. Keep Avoid repeats enabled to run through the list without replacement. The history shows the order selected, and the pool resets automatically after every choice has appeared or manually when you start a new round.
Not in this equal-choice version. Duplicate lines are deliberately removed, so repeating an option does not increase its odds. This keeps accidental duplicates from silently biasing a decision.
A random picker can break ties and handle low-stakes choices, but it cannot evaluate consequences, safety, cost, consent, health, law, or other important context. Use judgment and qualified advice for consequential decisions.
